TSG over BiO - (15-9) (7-5 TSG as CT)(8-4 TSG as T)
A strong TSG roster easily defeated BiO yesterday. TSG has been dominating CAL and UGS lately and BiO just couldn't provide much competition for TSG.
Eminence ties shock - (15-15) (4-8 shock as CT)(8-4 shock as T)(3-3 shock in OT)
In a long and grueling match, shock and eminence fought neck to neck much of the match, eventually reaching a tie in overtime.
Agent over mv - (14-10) (6-6 Agent as CT)(8-4 Agent as T)
Agent is finally picking up some pace, getting their second win of the season after previously beating rdw. Agent managed to do well CT side, and picked up a couple more rounds as Terrorists granting them the win.
GB over RDW - (16-14) (11-1 GB as T)(1-11 GB as CT)(4-2 GB in OT)
RDW just hasn't done as well lately with the loss of their powerhouse player destrukt. They managed to bring GB into overtime but after all their effort it just wasn't enough to come out over GB. This was a pretty entertaining match to watch, with both teams doing extremely well on the Terrorist side.
TEC over LgD - (17-7) (9-3 TEC as T)(8-4 TEC as CT)
TEC has managed to steadily regain some posture. After bringing some stability to their roster they nearly beat a strong TSG earlier this week, which is no small feat and certainly boosted morale a bit. LgD has been doing well lately but they could not dish out enough to bring the score even close against TEC.
3D over Pinnacle - (18-6) (8-4 3D as CT)(10-2 3D as T)
With Pinnacle lacking star player Brown in this match, they struggled as terrorists and then got completely obliderated on the CT side. 3D now stands at an impressive 6-0 record.
e7 over Gamewyze - (15-9) (6-6 e7 as CT)(9-3 e7 as T)
Gamewyze tried to keep it close here, keeping it tied as CT but then losing their nerve on the Terrorist side. Since the CPL, e7 has risen up and shows no sign of relenting.
MurK over 1hq - (15-9) (9-3 MurK as T)(6-6 MurK as CT)
The Icelanders from MurK pulled off a win versus a weakened 1hitterquitter, with the ping difference not making much of a difference on the outcome of the match. 1hq has been somewhat of a disappointment, going 1-5 so far in their first season of CAL-i, but perhaps they have just not grown adjusted to it yet.
TAU over hs - (22-2) (11-1 TAU as T)(11-1 TAU as CT)
TAU managed to brutalize, demolish and batter a dizzied Hicks with Sticks in both the CT and Terrorist sides of this lopsided match. The Hicks just haven't been able to keep up with the caliber of play this season, and this match brings them to a sorrowful 0-6 record.
u5 over DeadZone - (17-7) (9-3 u5 as T)(8-4 u5 as CT)
u5 has stormed through their first season of CAL-i and has repeatedly defied expectations, bringing skilled clans to the ground. DZ couldn't stop them yesterday, leaving u5's undefeated record intact.
zEx over xeno - (13-11) (3-9 zEx as CT)(10-2 zEx as T)
zEx made a nice rebound yesterday; after DZ trampled them earlier in the week zEx seems to have learned from their mistakes and pulled off a narrow win versus xeno.
SYB over WEW - (18-6) (8-4 SYB as T)(10-2 SYB as CT)
Unlike other teams yesterday, WEW got completely dominated on the Terrorist side which ultimately lost the match for them. SYB gets bragging rights in this one, and they're scheduled to play TSO next so expect at least a small winning streak from SYB in the future.
LaR over TSO - (18-6) (9-3 LaR as T)(9-3 LaR as CT)
TSO has not brought much to the table for many seasons. Although they took 3DO to overtime and 3DO beat Rival yesterday, it just doesn't show in their record for seasons past and present. TSO is on track to settle with a muted score similar to last season's, as they currently rest at 1-5.
EG over Cc - (16-8) (5-7 EG as CT)(11-1 EG as T)
EG is sitting on a 5-1 record now, and like other teams yesterday they executed a brilliant Terrorist side to win the match. Hopefully Cc will make a comeback this season, but their record is currently 1-5.
ICE over nerve - (14-10) (3-9 ICE as CT)(11-1 ICE as T)
ICE managed to recover from a bad CT side and dominated nerve in the next half. This brings ICE to a three game winning streak. ICE is on fire! I couldn't help it, sorry.
3DO over Rival - (13-11) (9-3 3DO as T)(4-8 3DO as CT)
In what could be regarded as the match of the night, 3DO managed to stop Rival's winning streak in its tracks and surpass the expectations of pretty much everyone. 3DO will probably make it into playoffs this season and set out to show North America that they are not a team to be underestimated. Rival has been doing poorly in UGS this season, and that trend could possibly be starting to show in CAL.
