just watch, the new steam wont come out tomorrow, and probably not for another week... face it... dont listen to announcements on release dates ever. i remember when i saw something about gta san andres coming for ps2 this year. but actually it doesnt come for another year. my source was reliable as well. i hope it does come tomorrow cause i cant play cs at all (i was banned from all CS 1.5 secure servers). only gay ass lan game with mindless bots.

Yes but they just got DOS'd by the mass of people looking at the download site, think what would happen when those people not only look but also download. I see why they delayed the release, they didn't know how much bandwidth was needed untill their site got hammered by people waiting for the update. Now when Steam 1.0 gets released it should be easier to get because they are more prepared. I just hope they make a really low bandwidth version of steampowered.com, like not just the download page text only but also the steampowered.com homepage to save all the bandwidth that they can because they will obviously need it all when people start to F5 attack the site and then download.

Deja vu. Their problem is that they don't learn the first time. You are suppose to have a surplus amount of bandwidth, not a scarcity when something like this is released.

I've only seen it about FIVE HUNDRED TIMES, and since I see you are much higher than the average CS player, I ask myself, how do you have time to post on a CS site. No actually I didn't say anything of the sort. I was just sick of people uselessly flaming peoples posts, I can't stand to read that. I was just stating an obvious fact, and actually I'm not all that excited about Steam. I'm just not sure, I'm going to get it tomorrow for certain but no I'm not going to stay up all night and do it, although I could have 10 computers running if I wanted. I just don't have enough Moutain Dew to keep me awake that long. Well I just hope Valve can get it done for tomorrow.
