you're right... those damn bastards, they're so predicatable.

every time they try to release something new, instead of just releasing it on time they hire hackers to run some DoS-attacks on 'em and delay their releases... just to see us whine. it's your 1234+ comment whines about the initial Steam 2.0 beta delay that flues the souls of VALVe employees. [/sarcasm - for the stupid ones, just in case]

"We've been informed by Valve that the Steam site is under a DoS attack. The client and server packages for Steam will be released as soon as possible, but at the moment it looks like there will be a delay. If things settle down, the SDS (Steam Dedicated Server) will probably be released some time today, with the client following tomorrow."
Wow... you're a VALVe fanboy.... If you haven't noticed... everytime VALVe tries to release a patch, they end up failing to meet the deadline or the patch straight up doesn't work (Steam patches). BTW, I was part of the group that got Steam the day it was released in Feb. Ever since then, every patch they release have knocked out Steams systems or Steam gets a huge error and requires another patch.

VALVe is predictable and so are their little fanboys. Fanboys are what kill CS and turn it into a spray and pray festival.

Anyone skipping school to have some geek valve release party should be burned at the stake.

Valve never comes through on the first try, it's no secret.

and you, Mister, need to learn the whole comment before replying... if it's too big and hurts your sensitive eyes, don't even bother trying to say something back.

ps. apparently now there's no middle ground anymore: we either hate VALVe for everything they did [to us? or for us?] or love it to death. :O guess there's no place for me then. ;\

edit: oh, and you're probably that what makes CS what it is...

COINCIDENCE THE LARGEST COUNTER TERRORISM VIDEO GAME IS BEING RELEASED ON THE 2ND ANNIVERSARY OF THE SEPTEMBER 11TH ATTACKS!?

              I THINK NOT!

Think about it, on the day that millions mourn, millions more will go to download a free videogame that allows you to plant bombs and murder hostages. THE HUMANITY!

does valve have an ounce of credibility left? ... what is wrong with these people? why are they so incapable of meeting any sort of deadline?

I think all servers should just ban the 1337 SteamID.
