Half-Life 2 To PlayStation 2!

The folks over at IGN has posted that VALVe's Doug Lombardi confirmed that Half-Life 2 would be making its way to the PlayStation 2 sometime in the future. More news on this to be posted soon.

Um... the playstation2 sucks.

But if the PS2 can run it, then the people who have to play CS in 320x200 should be able to play hl2

Thank god. I know they messed up HL on the PS2, but to be honest I didn't like HL on PC either so no change there anyway. Hopefully though, if HL2 (PC) is good, then a PS2 version should be great *awaits it to get delayed, finally come out, then suck*.

duck hunt does rock, and Alien id trade you outright if it weren't for the fact that i can play duck hunt (try it yourself) even at work! lol



i think they have the ps3 slated for 2005, which is too bad, because i think to run hl2, that might be a more viable option. im content in not holding my breath waiting for hl2 for the pc, nevermind what console its going to come out for even further down the road.

2005? That sounds about right. After all the PS1 was released in '95 and the PS2 came out in 2000.



Once again it'll be the first (and best) nex-gen console.

It's interesting to note no word on the Xbox version (if one is around) but will surely be inevitable with CSX.

I'll trade you, do you have the gun controller thing? I hate my PS2, I only use my XBox if I even use that. I'll just buy HL2 for PC.
