When it was announced that boms would be playing for Team 3D in the WCG, speculation ran wild in light of his seemingly covered conflict with some of zEx's big names. With boms' help, US Team 3D took the WCG qualifier. Now it's full circle, as boms has left team zEx and is the sixth member of Team 3D.
This is another move for Team 3D that shows their commitment to consolidation of skill, in the US scene where there are scores of 'top' clans and even more personal rivalries. Hours before boms' move, 3D regained the top spot on gotFrag's North American clan rankings.
Meanwhile, Sunman and Shaguar have left team zEx, leaving the clan that finished unexpectedly low at this Summer's CPL event on its deathbed. With its top three players gone, team zEx's long, up-hill history may have ended last night.
