guano apes rock. hard clan is awesome....those headshots thru the walls were.......wow. if they would have done that to me, i'd have screamed 'hacker' to the heavens....wow

Maybe just a wild idea, but wouldn't it be nice to have movies reviewed at CSNation available for download there as well (perhaps as a image CSNationalist-only feature)?

We don't host the movies, I just linked to some of the mirrors.

I also don't write reviews for several reasons. I'm not a critic and I don't feel I have a place the throughly judge someone else's work.

I meant by some of the effects. Don't get me wrong, the fact they made a cartoon character of each player was kinda cheesy, but it was a good idea!

hard clan wasn't as good as i thought it would be.. the review the guy made on the website was right, the people they played were pretty pathetic, for the most part, and it wasn't all that entertaining watching the screen shake near the end.. shoulda just cut it off before faint came on, thats when the movie started to go down hill for me and the attention i gave it just sorta.. flew out the window heh.



graphics were nice, although a 1 minute intro isn't all that fascinating.. 15-20 second ones are to my liking (personally) because they give you a feel for whats to come without seeming to be a filler for time... that didn't factor into the score though, can't be biased, the intro was really cool looking :)



summary:

cons = intro too long, a bit too many slow-mos, cheesy transitions and when faint came on the movie lost special feeling i had from the first 1/2. soem of his shots in the 2nd half were plain lousy..



pros = really nice graphics, quality was stupendous, very smooth looking, music in first half went perfectly with the rhythm of the killing..



overall i give it a 7.3 out of 10

now on to the other crops :d



sheesh, the HLO and Adrenaline 2 movies HAVE been out for forever, i remember watching them a while ago, middle of june or july.. reviews for them are on csflicks i believe.. i like the adrenaline one a lot better than the Hard Clan one ;]

No I don't :) However, a lot of the movies that appear on the CSNation frontpage seem to run out of bandwidth pretty fast (hence the reference to being Slashdotted). Therefore, I thought up the idea of putting the posted movies on a CS-Nationalist-only download location. Would make another nice selling argument, I guess :)

Goddamnit. What fucking codec do I need to watch the derosa one? I've tried divx, xvid, and the entirety of nimos monstrous codec pack. For the love of God someone tell me whats wrong!
