True, but they can't cheat, at all, period. There in lies the problem with this as I see it. Online, there is no real way to know 100% that someone isn't cheating, somehow. In a LAN, obviously they would know immediatly by watching the person playing's screen.

Dude, as I recall funk was hacking at some CPL qual at TSG (The Stomping Grounds lan center) and he got caught, cried, walked around the block, and then asked if he could keep playing.

By putting money into an account to play against people, I think you pretty much know that the possibility to get hacked is there. If you get hacked and he gets away with it, tough luck, your fault that you made the conscious decision to play.

If so, it might really accelerate cheat development, but the cheat developers wouldn't provide the public with their cheats anymore, because they would want to win the money and they wouldn't want anyone else to get an advantage...
