I've tried my hand at mapping. I know how insanely patient you have to be. I also know what kind of immense skill it takes to create such a work of art as de_chateau. That map is, and always will be my favorite CS map. If I ever got tired of the layout (which is unlikely), I still could never get sick of just how beautiful that map is. And the hidden room that you can only see in spec just gives me a warm feeling :p Bottom line: chateau is the best... period. |317<|-|35! ...Oh my God, did I just type that? Chateaux rox, it is very playable, and with some regards perhaps to timing to bsites, maybe lengthening the water route´/removing some water.. would even oput the rusha bility. When the ts get in the house quickly, u can say bye to the game as cts If you are unprepared.. Also 5v5 would make it alittle more difficult. Perhaps they could introduce an enw kidna clan play, where two clans play on eachs side and bump it up to 10v10.. Each clan is still playing for themselves. Hmm coudll be intersting..
Good to see 4k are featured in the best game of the cPL UK Rox tbh...

Theres no reason to flame us for responding truthfully to his question. A lot of u that responded calling us stupid wont ever play competitive at the level that TAU does. At the CAL-i level, Chateau is a terrible map, and u won't find many invite players who will disagree.Comment

agreed. Most of the people responding are not playing cs at a serious competetive level. Chateau as a pub map may be fun for some of you but as far as competetive play, the map isnt worthy. Too many issues (ie. water, windows, lag, fps issues etc.) cause the map to be very unfriendly to any form of tactics. As for mapping, no ive never mapped and dont plan to. I play the games competetively, I dont make them. As for those flaming about mapping, which maps do you have in the cs install? yea... stfuComment
