HL2 (imo) looks like it's going to be pretty good, at least on the graphics side, but they need to release some more plot info :/ I have faith in Valve, hopefully they cooked up a nice plot with the original HL writer :)

IMO - Who ever pruchased the original Half-Life and enjoyed it will pribably by HL2 regardless of whether they have seen any vids or not.

Please god no. Unofficially, i'm sure they'll all be converted. Officially, i'd hope they'll all be new maps/scenarios. Same goes for any other mod moving to HL2 from HL1.

Yeah well if it wasnt for HL which you think sucked ass you wouldnt be here at the moment youd be somewhere else critisizing what will be the best game ever. IMO HL still is best game and i think everything about it rocks except for somne graphics

Yea, interaction is one of the things that I find to be very interesting about this game. Top that off with kick ass physics, an insanely good graphics engine, and and a great story. Sounds like a recipe for a good game.

The Barricade movie shows just what a great game this is going to be. Did anyone pick up the car alarm going off when the grenade was chucked?

I think it was the turret going off when it died, not a car. I could be wrong though.

Well, id say they will be official maps, with a few duff ones dropped (torn/storm/survivor), for possible nostalgic reasons, and because the game will feel more similar then if the old maps are in it.
