Pandora's Box CS Movie

In the wake of the Militia movies we've been seeing a fair share of knock off attempts taking their shot at the plot driven movie genre using in game Counter-Strike action. Some of them are good and others not so good.



At any rate here's a new story driven theme movie that looks like some actual time went into it, and it's worth a look if you're into the genre.



Clan Fonzie has made an 11 minute movie called Pandora's Box. It centers around three terrorist trying to infiltrate a weapons factory. The first few minutes are a bit slow but it picks up. You'll be happy to know that The Family God is the one who informed us of this so that's something to keep in mind if you catch my drift.

The voice acting isn't the worst i've heard so that's a plus (although at times it sounded like they were reading it right off a script), but it needed better level design and scripted camera movement.

hey why don't 5 more people tell me about the links i was in the process of fixing. don't know how i let that slip by tho carry on!~



oh and back to the movie they should of used in game voice for the dialog so their mouths would of moved. it looks kind of dumb with their heads bobbing up and down.



edit: and before some moron yells at me i don't mean use in game voice for the actual sound track in the movie...

The music in the middle didn't seem like it fit all that well. The camera work SUCKED. Far too jerky.



Otherwise it wasn't that bad. Militia 2 still beats the crap out of this one, but I have to say good job to the makers.

It's funny how things go, first nobody knew about our movie, now it's on csnation, thanks goes out to all people that have worked on the movie, the people that made word go round about the movie, valve and the other people that are working on cs.

Yes, this was our first movie. We didn't put TOO much time into it, as we wanted to see what the audience thought of it first. We do have plans for a second one, which should have WAY better camera work then this one.



Thanks for all the comments on this. We know it was real jerky and sometimes disturbing to watch, but we didn't have a real large crew. And because it would be our first movie, we just wanted to see what people thought of the script itself and the idea of making another directed-CS movie.

Was pretty good. Except for the little bit of shoddy work to cover up some things, like the flash of terrorists win when he kills the first guard and such, it was pretty good.
