Agreed 100% - the only hope the Terrorists have is a silent approach since the CTs can get to either bombsite extremely quickly if the Ts are spotted. Unfortunately, such an approach is impossible since everyone has to come out of the water when they reach a choke point.



I really didn't take chateau seriously when it first came out, but I think we'll see some very interesting matches among teams who have taken the time to strat it out and scrim it a bunch of times.

You can get into both sites for the most part silently. I know for a fact how to get into a without ct's hearing you and b I have something planned in my head but i haven't tried it yet. It's preseason though so don't expect much more than just mac-10's tmp's and knives DD.

um... why are you predicting like this... none of the best clans are actually going to even play the map more than 10 minutes, there is no reason you should ever say an underdog is going to lose a preseason match really badly. 20-4? Even if they do actually make some strats for the map, they're just gonna fuck around when the match is decided... there is no way the score would be that kind of blowout.

You really have to know what you're doing. On the terrorist team every little thing you do makes noise, and as CT you have to set up fast and watch those A rushes.

I played chateau once. I just went to one of the bombsites(like I know which one is which) and kept stepping in and out of the water repeatedly to make the other team think there was a bunch of people there. Mind you, this was on a public server so I was soon greeted by 3 rushing CT p90s and automatic shotguns who didn't use sound anyway, but I thought I was clever until it failed 10 rounds in a row.

Yeah we won our cal-im match by a pretty huge margin... It's an ok map, but being a t can be pretty hard at times because of all the water.. fakes worked well though.
