    Euro-Mole Today

Remember about a month ago I reported that Euro-Mole was announced? Probably not, so I'm here to remind you.

Euro-Mole is the same as Counter-Mole, but in Europe. Who would have guessed? It consists of 9 people of various skills in a server together, with one hacker. The audience tries to decide who the hacker is. If you chose the hacker correctly, you get entered into a drawing. If your name is drawn, you get to pick from a CS or DOD server free for 3 months.

Euro-Mole starts today at 3PM EST, 12PM PST. For HLTV try #counter-mole on either Gamesnet or Quakenet. For more information on the Euro-Mole or any of its counter-parts, go to counter-hack.net.

Yes, he will be using a hack that screws up the layout of everyone's Counter-Strike client, using the new CSS-Cheat 1.3. Your money will overlap with your health and armor. Your gun will appear to be floating 10 feet in front of you upside down. It will be crazy!

*has a tear in his eye* I remember when The Mole was on Channel 5 over here (UK) just before it went over to the states (so it is more of a british show when you think about it)...... the first series was great, the ones after it sucked though. I'm amazed it took off in america, all the other channels over here rejected it straight away and only Channel5 would take it on, and they usually just show crap.

It's clearly because Europeans are better than Americans on every scale known to man. We're easily amused, and our IQs are all low. We're also too lazy to learn the metric system. That's cause enough to nuke us.

Actually they've stopped showing that sort of 'late night' stuff, least they had last time I checked.... and it was only softcore anyway..... sad gimp (though you are right that they only show low-budget stuff..... when the first series of The Mole was made, it had a stupidly low budget. If it wasn't for Ch5 stepping in they wouldn't have been able to make it at all). And everyone I know can pick up Ch5 easy... just tune it in yourself though. When they 'official' guy from Ch5 went round Bath trying to tune in people's TVs, not one person I know got it, but second they fiddled about with it themselves they tuned it in perfectly :) Oh, and I'm not quite sure what you mean Ghengis... when the hell was 'Nasty' Nick on channel 5? I certainly don't remember him being on there (then again I haven't seriously sat down and watched anything on Ch.5 for like, a year, except for World's Wildest Police Videos, since it's always funny to laugh at the thick american cops who don't know how to do jack s***. That reminds me, that's on at 12 tonight (countdown to laughing at thick american cops: 20 minutes).

EDIT: After a quick think, there is one other thing good about Ch5: films. They mostly show shite films, but about once every month they have good ones. Thanks to Ch5, I was finally able to watch Terminator 2 (yes I could have just rented it, but I couldn't be arsed too), and they had that 'Bruce Lee night' which was fairly good (Enter The Dragon has to be one of the best films ever). And thanks to Ch5 (and BBC1 and Ch4) I've seen almost every single Jean-Claude Van Damme film there is (yes, I've even sat through TimeCop, possibly the worst 'action' film ever made), though I'm not sure if that's a good thing or a terribly bad and sad thing.......
