These gaming companies need to stop jerking there consumers around. It's ridiculous that it keeps being passed back and fourth between different developers. They need to get there act together and start taking the game seriously, otherwise they should not even bother making it.
It does the community a great disservice when they can't even tell you how the game is coming along. And they shouldn't give out release dates unless it is definitely going to be released. I don't know if it is just me but it seems like the gaming industry is unorganized and don't take much effort in ensuring that they're doing things the right way. The way they conduct business doesn't seem very professional at all and that needs to change.Comment

Personally, CZ to me means nothing. I scoff at your single player Counter-Strike and your graphical updates. To risk sounding like a troll, I WANT MY CS TO STAY THE SAME! Sure, new weapons are great, grand, and wonderful... but they sure as hell don't outdo HL2, which vALVE has decided to put out close as hell to CZ.
Prediction: Consumers say, "why am I spending $50 for an outdated game? " and wait for HL2.
HL2 > Steam 1.6 > CZComment

CS:CZ is going to add new things to cs so i am still looking forward to it even though the sp mode might suck ass.Comment

1.6 will never be relased officially, its just being used to test steam abilities to update gmaes and distro stuff...

Anyways, this has to be one of the biggest cloak-and-dagger stories to hit the CS/HL fans ever. What a mess. We've gone from solely CS, to CS, CS 1.6 beta (1 through 9,483, 945), CS 1.6, CS2, CS: CZ, Steam, and HL2. Ummm, logic, anyone? I mean, come on. Honestly.
Perhaps we should all just curl up into balls on the floor, rock back and forth, and slowly weep with our heads between our knees until HL2 and CS2 are released, and just forget any of this fiasco ever happened. And never speak of it again. Ever.Comment

I couldnt stand to shell out $50 for 3 year old graphics (3 year old because i guess there's a graphical update). I'll save my $$$ for a new gfx card and hl2.
