CS-Nation's dassbaba had previous reported that American CAL-i team aoX had disbanded after an unsuccessful CPL bid last week. This is not true; aoX thankfully still exists. The clan says it did experience some internal problems, but did not split up. We're not sure how this news ended up on the front page of CS-Nation, but we'll do our best to keep our reporting accurate in the future. CS-Nation apologizes to all parties involved.

My primary source of information is GamesNet IRC. I am a constant visitor to many popular channels and the channels that I idle in have frequent discussion of the happenings in the community. I receive information on important news days before the public is allowed to see it. My other two primary sources are SoGamed and GotFrag community news.
I happen to be a staff member at gotFrag so I spend a lot of time sorting through the community news and seeing who has posted what comments and so on. The rest of my sources are friends from the e-sports community and the people that the news is connected to. I usually confirm news with someone reliable but with the aoX situation someone who was supposedly CAL|Tobin had posted in GotFrag community news that aoX was dead. Anyone can make a community news post on sites that allow so, however many posts are fake/bad so there is heavy moderation of the forums.
Most of the American news gets posted on GotFrag community news. Most European CS news gets posted on SoGamed. However I get nearly all of my information from IRC. With aoX someone assumed to be an authority in the e-sports community posted that aoX is died, at least one supposed member had promptly replied and acknowledged that aoX is dead. I was shocked when I saw this so I checked #aoX , the clans channel and saw that the topic stated that aoX is dead.The rest of my sources for this were my friends in the e-sports community who were already saying they had talked to aoX members and they were supposedly dead. It turns out that this was all a rumor as aoX has said. However this incident has prompted me to make some statements about my reporting

I will no longer be posting situations assumed to be true, but posting what I and the community know so far and what is the possible truth in the situation CS-Nation brings you the absolute best coverage and this new change will only better my methods of bringing the best possible news. I was pretty shocked to see the aoX update on the front page, I am currently on a business trip but hopefully this will clear everything up. Again, i'd like to apologize for reporting un-true news, hopefully this post will clear everything up.

- cs-nation's e-sports news sources are the most reliable cs sources possible, mostly because the news that we report is taken from whatever the news is about.
- my personal method of receiving news is hearing "rumors" and then confirming them to be true.
