Hurray for "non biased" reportage. Not "wp europe, europe am teh win" but just sob stories about how the USA should do better, and how the USA needs to improve. Tbqfh, although the 4k v 3d match went on for waaaay too long for it to be exciting, I was so chuffed that british lads are able to show that they can still cut it amongst the creme de la creme of the worlds teams. Applause for 4k; basically cos if rizzuhs reporting is allowed to take the angle of his own countrymen, then my reply is allowed to as well :P

Is it just me or is rizzuh just the slightest bit pissed off that the americans did crap (generally speaking of course, 3D did alright)?

Anyway, I knew SK would win it (I'm sure alot of you are already pissed off from hearing me say 'SK.swe is going to win the CPL!' in every comments page). Such a kick in the knackers that they cut HLTV before the end, I would have loved to have watched the last round (yes I could download the demo, but a) I'm on 56k, and I'm tired and can't be bothered to download it, and b) it's just not the same, watching it 'as it happens', even with the HLTV delay, is alot cooler then watching an old demo).

Still, well done to SK.swe. $60,000 is alot of cash (I'm not sure on the american dollers <> british pounds conversion rate, but as far as I know there's just under two dollers for every one of our british pounds, so that is what, roughly £30,000-£35,000? That's almost a year's wage for some people) considering they've just been playing computer games.

LoL thanks for the translation superm0nk.

The fact that it was same country final should've made for some good competitiveness.

P.S. Nice fast mirror for the demo

P.P.S. the twister POTD was done by my bro, but hes not a member and would explain the fact the cred was to nobody when he submitted it.

then i bet it's like 15% to their sponsors, or something, most sponsoring companies have a percentage they have to pay them, but still 38,000 isn't to shabby

Just watched the demos, I thought it was a joke at first when they were running around randomly team killing and stuff, but then realised it was before it started. lol.

For those of you still on the Netfire demo link, close it. Use the new link, because the demo is now being mirrored on Dathorn. It should be a lot less bogged down, and hopefully has plenty of bandwidth for you.
