Exactly! I think what VALVe should start doing is finish the game, then say "it's coming out next week." That way, all the poor little flaming idiots won't complain if it's delayed. Argh.

obviously Valve is going to make a fake release date during christmas and change it back to sep 31 on sep 30. that way everyone LOVES valve and they get back the lost love from the CZ incidents.

I'm very curious as to why VALVe isn't aware of this (assuming no one else in VALVe knows if Gabe doesn't know). I'm really thinking someone from Vivendi screwed this up and either said something he/she shouldn't have, or said it too early to someone who leaked it to the press before Vivendi even informed VALVe. I'm really questioning this claim.

you guys are morons, valve delayed one thing ( i think half-life was delayed a bit right?) but they never delayed tf2 , since they decided to not make it on the current engine and make it on the half-life 2 engine (which kind of spells out it won't be out until after hl2) and CS:CZ is and never was being made by valve. So wtf is the problem. Everyone who isn't willing to wait should get an unfinished buggy version with no updates availibe and I will wait for my polished version. I like the delay , it will give me more time to play soldner before hl 2 comes out

maybe by the time they release it.. there will be a 4ghz processor with the NV40 (nvidia's upcomming card)and a 16X agp slot. and 1GhzFSB with 4GB ram at 2ghz..(some new ram) and we can run hl2 at 8x AA and AF. and have 100fps...

but this just if they release it in 3 years

Yeah, the G5 doesn't have rigged benchmarks and there aren't any better computers out there widely available for retail that are more powerful and cheaper.
