Many good things came from these topics. I will only bring up my three favorites:



1) He said jj and "john jensen" repeatedly, as if hearing my own name (which is at the bottom of each page) would cause me to panic.



2) He submitted a post before it was completed no less than two separate times.



3) Dassbaba came out of the closet and told ShoNuff that he was born in Europe, meaning he couldn't be American-biased. Too bad ShoNuff was just on a crusade against me by that point.

Normally I don't mind reading the back and forth of flame wars(unless it's on religion) but there I finally gave up half way down because of the lack of a back and forth. I stopped when it broke down to this:

I don't know where the "argument" progressed from there but I'm sure it was exciting! It's kind of weird that the comments haven't gotten a troll as stupid as shonuff before.

i think they should have rankings like seperated from euro and usa. none of this world crap. too many factors taken into account. like the 15 rounds for euro, or the no ghosting for cal, but its ok for sel...

Damn man, wish I'd had seen this sooner, this thread had so many chances to use some good old sayings and insults. Ahh well. Doesn't matter really, Shonuff made himself look like a stupid fecking eejit anyway........



*ahem* As for the rankings thingy, I'm still biased towards SK.swe over the other 'top teams', so as far as I'm concerned SK.swe should be ranked #1 for the world, though I do wish the german and female CS branches of SK would get more lime-light, rather then just .swe all the time. They're the only two sections of SK that don't get much press, the UT and Quake factions of SK get alot of press for their relevent games, so I think it'd only be fair for SK.ladies and for SK.ger to get more press when it comes to CS (even though both groups arn't entirly dedicated to CS and play other games aswell)

once again, i cannot wait until 3d owns the summer cpl,

but i still haven't a clue why they updated the rankings now, when there weren't any big lans in which teams could have proven themselves..most of the rankings are just enormous guesses (guess's or guesses?? :|) in my opinion

There has been a few events; Intel Cybercup, Clanbase Eurocup & CSC, CAL first half of the Season, SEL Playoffs and not to mention tons of smaller LAN events. As you can see though there wasn't a lot of changes.
