small custom maps are a good way to build a loyal following for your (mine) crappy noob server: they can't play them anywhere else. but the map needs to be unique as well as fast down load.

No offense, but it seems like a crappy server.. I ping 120 at the lowest and it fluctuates up to 1100 (edit: this may be because you are hosting a server from a cable modem). I live in California, btw.



I don't like the idea of making it (near) impossible to get to the other side of the map, it cuts down in the replay value, IMO. Good call changing the gravity I'd say.

That is a big big file for an aim map.

Most ppl imo play aim maps coz they are small and therefore easy/quick to download ingame and good for a quick bash.

Oh yeah, and to practice aim.

Try to make it a bit smaller?

I love the normal maps but at the same time i like abit of the 'ol free for all no tactics lets 'ave it mode.

I like and happen to play alot of deathmatch games and enjoy them

emensly?, but there is no game that i have played that has a deathmatch situation with the same calibre of cs as far as the weapons of cs, therefore cs weapons and cs deathmatch situations, ie: afore mentioned he_fy_blah_blah far outweigh say...

I downloaded the map after hunting it down. I liked it, getting pretty damn good with the guns and such, it's alot more about accuracy and skill with the gun rather then stealth like the other maps. I give it a "good job" sticker like we all got in third grade. And then read all the comments...sad. If all you guys ou there are already great at the game and can get 25 kills in 5 rounds with a 32 person limit on a server then congrats to you, go gloat to the mirror and stop trashing good maps and articles because your too "badass" at the game to get better with the weapons other then an AWP/M. I feel these maps allow for a more focused attempt at learning a weapon and maybe even mastering it (if that's possible). "That's all I got to say about that."

This isn't a single minor mistake, this was pure stupidity. This is something that could've been completely avoided if Dassbaba had actually read the site for any length of time. I risk a ban commenting on this because while the point may have been driven into the ground, it apparently hasn't been driven into Dassbaba. He's opened the floodgates and is still dense enough to wonder why he's getting wet.

Heh, first post I've ever seen here that made total sense...... shame you'll probably now be banned for dissing rizzuh and dassbaba :p



I think it'd be best to agree an end to this now - all that has come out of this is a few people got pissed off, some more got banned from this site, and nobody can really say they gained anything from this on-going conversation. Which is stupid considering this is just a random map that nobody is forcing anyone to play on. It's not like they're making this an official map and it's going to be used in the CPL or something. So I think it'd be best if we all just wind this down now before even more people get banned for no good reason. As far as I can tell if this goes on like this, they'll just be more bannings, more flames etc, and as I said before, nobody is gaining anything from that. Maybe rizzuh should put a block here or something so nobody can post more comments. It'd help alot and save rizzuh from banning all the random flamers.
