New Server Browser

Hello to all loving CS-Nation fans! DrMagus here reporting on a new server browser for you all to try and enjoy! Instead of being CS only, AWPunk can browse for any other Half-Life modification and find those games so you can go frag or whatever you people do in these games. It is "fully compatible with AMX and ClanMod servers, allowing display of timeleft, nextmap and player's efficiency on most servers." What's not to love? It also includes an unlimited buddy list and can auto retry servers that are full!

Ah well, each program has it's own little unique aspects of the interface and such that different people like, so I don't mind multiple programs existing, even if they're doing essentially the same thing.

I've got a small map filled with hostages, if that'll do the trick for ya... But yes, I got the joke.

I think the idea he was shooting for was along the same "it's already been done many times" theme. You know, there's been how many games trying the CT/Terrorist theme...? Anyway, that's what I was getting out of it.

Heh, what I was getting at is that server-browsing software has been done before. If I were to rewrite Counter-Strike (terrorism-themed mod), and call it "Hostage Rescue and Bomb Planting for the Masses" do you think many people would play it? :)

The AMX/Clanmod integration stuff looks pretty awesome. When I want to watch a clan match when there's no HLTV or IRC scorebot, staring at the number of frags from within HLSW doesn't tell me much, but efficiency might give me a hint as to who's winning. Think I'll give this one a look.
