I'm not touching the Moore issue...

I think that the pressure of the coming release of Doom III will motivate Valve to get Half Life 2 out on time.

Oh I just love new poll and all retards who voting out HL2. Haha, let's make FUNNY comment, and joke about Valve release dates. Wow, I see so many comedians here. It is almost as funny as "jokes" about Duke Nukem Forever.

ot, but a good site for BFC stuff is: http://www.hardylaw.net/Truth_About_Bowling.html

but to the poll, i'm most anticipating CS2 just because I don't really know any information about it. I've already seen CZ screens and played 1.6, so there are no suprises. CS2, on the other hand...

So it's not just a dirty rumor that FSAA won't work with nvidia?

roffles, what he said is true, and you know it! you just dont wanna accept how screwed up the states really is.

i especially liked the short cartoon clip which shows the history of america in 60 seconds. illustrates the arrogance very well.

It doesn't work for any graphics card at all. It's not a problem with a particular GPU but it's a problem in DirectX9 itself that doesn't allow anti aliasing on the geometry/textures due to the method that the source engine uses to display it's textures.

The only difference is ATI cards might have a simple driver work around, while they haven't found a work around for nvidia cards yet.

but as of right now anti aliasing is not supported on the source engine for any card.

things like alpha transparent textures are hard to anti alias, but im positive the source engine will support geometry boundary anti aliasing. which need no special programming from valve's side.

even on the current HL/CS, some transparencies dont fully anti alias. someoen at valve has admitted to this.
