Irvine Tourneys/LAN

[CSN NewsBot]

Ownij Digital Entertainment (www.ownij.com) is "throwin' down" two CS Tournies in Irvine, California. The tourneys take place in the middle of the CPL Summer event, but there are plenty of Westie teams that can't make it to the CPL and this should be a fun chance to win some money and recognition! This is also a great opportunity for teams who would normally be scared off by the better teams since they should all be out of town, haha.



The format will be standard 5 on 5 double elimination CAL settings with up to $500 cold hard cash going to the winning 'crew.' The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 2nd. Check out www.ownij.com to register your team.

ever heard of w2z... its in NYC, right next to NJ. its where every body from tristate area LANs. there are plenty of good players who live in NJ, but a whole team in such a small state? plenty of good teams have competed there.

I hosted a private LAN at ownij about a month ago. They rock. as for paying for the pizza, I had 40 peeps at my lan and they bought 20 large pizzas from Papa John's (good stuff). we had more than enough pizza. its not like your normal LAN center, it is much cooler.

Anyway, there's also going to be the iNTZ and ICE tournaments in Lake Forest, CA, which is about 5 minutes from Irvine. iNTZ is on Saturday, ICE on Sunday if you want to join me. These are tournaments, btw.
