i converted the bink file to divx. same quality, only a bit smaller (22.4Mb instead of 68.6Mb). only drawback: there's a thin green line in the bottom of the screen. oh well.

Do you really think that white dot line will be visble in game...? if you get so close of another caracter in CS you have a high chance of being stabbed.

anyone else notice how messed up his face was.. his eyebrows were uneven, nose was lopsided and huge.. had alazy eye (left one) and his face looked like it'd been through many... how you say, challenges? i liked that, made it seem realer :)

hmm, *perhaps* thats because that video was almost a year old. I think Valve might perform a few tweaks before releasing the final product.



I wonder if these other movie updates are actually being downloaded now, as it seems to be downloading something... waiting for Valve to flip the switch and make them visible.

It's meant to be that way. Just like in real, life the model's faces aren't perfectly symmetrical. If they were you're brain would realize it and wouldn't find it very believable. Hence the uneven eyes, eyebrows etc.
