Say goodbye to one of the following:

Your grades at school

Social life

After school job



It's great that it'll filter out the teams who really want to play competively, but it's going to cause a lot of people to suffer from burnout.

Some people have lives (not me) and trust me, 1 match a week is not just 1 hour a night. If you only play that one time you won't go anywhere. You have to scrim/practice etc. You need to devote at least 5 hours a week to CS if you plan to win a match. That's a few scrims and practices + your weekly match. And that's bare minimum. Double that with two matches a week and you can see how it adds up. This will hurt the lower competitive clans that are skillful but for one reason or another taking it at a slower pace between their job/school etc and feed them out of CAL for better or worse, hard to say. I am looking forward to it but I know quite a few people (people who, surprise surprise, aren't active 24/7 on the CAL forums and therefore not really there to voice any opinion over the very vocal 2 match a week supporters) are not going to adjust so well to the changes.



Just saying is all.
