Disk2, you rule... this is sweet. I just had one lil bug I encountered. I bound my "i" key to say. Then I went and pressed it, it worked. Everything tested out. I hit the ~ key but it didn't come out of the irc mode. So I hit it a couple more times and it worked on like the 5th try. Is this a bug or lag or something?

Try waiting a second after you hit ~. It might take a second to switch back to the normal console.

It doesn't hook into Half-Life. I doubt this will be detected simply because it doesn't work the way a cheat would work...

Great program..i never even knew there was a v1.. This helps me because i have to drop cs before i go into the irc channel.



NOTE: This could be used as a cheat with your buddies sending you messages via the clan's private channel if they are lame.

I addressed that issue here:

Basically my point is that there are other tools, like Roger Wilco and even a telephone, that actually work better for cheating in that way. HLirc isn't the only way, and it certainly isn't the most convenient.

btw disk2 what command to i add to my perform to make it auto load on startup? i'm an irc nub.

If you load the script the way I described in the readme it should autoload..

and also, someone please come up with a bind that will be a cycle. that is the first time i press the key it will perform "say" the second time it'll be togglemenu or whatever console is, then say, then toggle, then say, then toggle, etc! :)

Yeah, it should auto-load each time you start mIRC.

You can type /join #channel in the HLirc console to change the active channel.. If that doesn't work you'll have to do /part #channel and then /join #channel. Hopefully that will be fixed in the next version.
