A strategy I sometimes use is trying to take out or wound the most disruptive player on the other team, I usually die when I try but when I succeed I feel pretty good about the team having a good chance.

Of course the team then proceed to get themselves all killed so this strategy is more a dud than a strategy :/

Another strategy: CT smoke!!!

Mostly everyone here knows what it is. You're all saying basically the same thing (with the exception of a few), but for some reason you all KEEP POSTING ABOUT IT. This is turning into a forum.

2 rounds is usually what i go for, or sometimes 1 if my team wins. Usually whatever it takes untill i have sufficient funds to get full armor, at least an MP5, an HE, and a flashbang, thus making you a useful player. Those rounds go by pretty quickly on a DM pub, but sitting around more than 3 rounds is excessive.

I do this too, actually, except i never initiate the knife fight. Another good way to ge shot in a knife fight is to call one then plant the bomb.

Hey My way of killing is simple i use a glock and armour and ammo then i do what i do best i wait at one door as soon as one guy comes in i blast him then take his gun. This tactic while not very nice, will get you frag after frag - for at least one round.



Start out by saying things like "Knife Only Round!!!!" and die at least once while trying to stab a fully armed commando. With a little luck, players will take pity on you and come out with their knives waving. At this point you simply pull out your AK or Colt and cream them all. Then, immediately apologize! Tell them that you didn't think anyone was playing knife only. Tell them that the NEXT round should be knife only. If the dolts you're playing with buy it, then you get another free round of slaughter. Then you'll be kicked - but wasn't that fun??

Ok i guess this is'nt really a tactic as much as a helpful hint but im going to post it anyway as i have played counterstrike for a long time and i have only started doing this recently (shame on me) and it has helped me improve my game ALOT .



When i play counterstrike i like to be able to rush at the enemy and attack while on the move both as T and CT so i buy myself the MP5 , its easy to aim and has decent power . However the MP5 is almost useless when it comes to long range shooting . So i also buy the DeEagle this awesome handgun is almost if not as powerfull as the AK it is extremely easy to aim and with a good shot you can take people out with ease at long distance .

I feel that these weapons combined are a marriage made in heaven as far as weapons go , you can move fast , save money , have both power and accuracy and using the DeEagle also improves your aim with all the other weapons , now that can only be a good thing .
