Blitz from UKTerrorist informed me that his site published the exact same MP5 guide eight months ago that we ran yesterday. Let's all have a big round of applause for Myers, because he's really enjoying this one. The feather in his cap!
Now there's nothing really morally or legally wrong with what we did. Mr. Varo owns the text, so he can have it re-printed anywhere he likes. He even applied for a position here back in May! Needless to say, however, this was an error on our part. We obviously don't want to run anything that's on another website. Nothing to do but make a little contest out of a bad situation:[break="the cs-nation writing festival"]Luckily no one really liked Mr. Varo's guide anyway. I thought it was well written, but perhaps a bit too basic and general to all CS weapons. Now you authors out there get to correct this entire folly by both making us our own strategy and writing one that's useful.
The author of "best" MP5 strategy guide submitted to puffycloud by Saturday will win one of following prizes (put your selection at the top of your e-mail). Things like grammar and spelling apply to the "best" part of the winning requirement. The strategy guide should be in a separate Word .doc or text file attached to the e-mail.
Possible prizes:
You can't win the PS2 port of NOLF or Deus Ex, sorry. They both suck on the console anyway. No CSN team members, past or present. And you may not be redef.
Have fun!
