Militia 2 Movie Mappack

Nick a.k.a. Serious Sam has created an unofficial mappack for the Militia 2 movie map that was released by Mojo yesterday. It includes the map, screenshots of the map, and dozens of links to Militia 1 and Militia 2. You can download it from here.

where do i install the maps...like which cs folder..this is my thing...c:/programfiles/sierra/halflife/csstrike..
i put it in thta rite..but it doenst work..the maps dont go in the rite places.when i want to download a mappack..can anyone tell me please..what im doing wrong..i wanted to download the mappack by narby..but there not goint in the rite places..where do i put it..someone help me out..thanx

If the .ZIP file includes folder names, you must select the option to use them when unzipping the file.

Thanks Torched NOOdle. BUT, the link you posted is only for the screens, not the full pack. Gasp, I have finally been mentioned on CS NATION! :giggles: For the map sounds, place them into the ambience folder in the cstrike folder. The map files in "map" go into the cstrike map folder. The one folder with nothing in it, just delete it.

BigMan: *.bsp files belong in your cstrike/maps folder. If your WinZip version is the same as mine, which it may or may not be as I'm too lazy to update, here's what you do.



1. Download the file from one of Sam's links (thanks dude.)

2. Open the file with WinZip.

3. Double click the "cs_militia2_movie" ZIP file inside it.

4. Click "Extract", then type in the name of your cstrike directory, by default "c:\sierra\half-life\cstrike"

5. Make sure "Use folder names" is checked.

6. Click extract!

Yeh Sam, I realized a while after posting it with the other download link though that it pointed to some pop-up ad factory, so I took the link out. I don't think your hosts like file-linking.

Noodle why don't you just include the links I mentioned in the comments? They work perfectly.

The current link in the news part is for the wrong one. Just use the holdoutsgamers download link. No problems with that one.

And just to clarify things, this pack mentioned in my comments (and the correct one :P) isn't just the map, its screenies, and a readme with lots of links to both movies.
