dust/chateau strats

We have some new map strategies for you crazy cats today.

• de_dust by mr bond - a three-page look at the most popular map in counter-strike. there's something for everyone here. grenade tricks for those who know the maps, a basic overview for total newbies, and some nice strategies for those in-between. great writing, as per usual
  
  
  
  
• de_chateau by exo - this map is probably the only good one to be added to cs since version 1.1. not many of us have played it to its fullest however, so check out this strategy if you want to be stronger at this delightful map.

Anyway great job Mr Bond and Exo. I'm really fond of the dust strategy, it's a great replacement for the very, very old one we had up before. The chateau one is also good because the map is relatively new (and it's played very little), so a lot of players will benefit from the strat.

No one ever plays chateau because they all think that a new map in CS always sucks.. and they're too lazy to learn the layout. I think it is one of the best, I just hope it isn't removed, like other great maps (cs_docks, cs_thunder)...

Wha?!?! Thunder was my favorite map when I first started! bah, shouldn't have removed it.

i dont need nobody telling me what to do..



thunder was rubbish.. the best maps were these in this order



1. cs_docks

2. es_frantic

3. cs_backalley

4. cs_prodigy



What do all these maps have in common? MORE THAN 2 ROUTES. The next version of dust will be one square room joined by a tunnel to another square room, the next one will be one square room divided by a wall, and the next one will be a square room where the teams spawn facing away from each other and it's who can turn around the fastest.

The chateau guide was very helpful(for clan matches as it isn't played much on pubs). The de_dust guide was good..for new players.



And, Yes cs_thunder was a good map, certainly better than say a 747 or survivor.
