  • MilkShape 3D v1.6.3 Released

MilkShape 3D, the popular CS modelling tool, is now up to version 1.6.3. MilkShape 3D is a program that lets you create, edit, and animate models with ease. With this version, creators chUmbaLum-sOft have included a completely new Ghoul2 model importer and a new version of Kratisto's HL Model Decompiler v1.01.
    • added: unweld vertex, useful for detaching faces or adding detail.

    • added: unweld vertex radial.

    • added: ms3d.exe.manifest, which allows luna controls under winxp.

    • replaced: completely new ghoul2 model importer (msglmimporter.dll will be unloaded again).

    • fixed: extrude tool doesn't try to extrude vertices, when no triangles are selected.

    • changed: opengl errors are not logged into the ms3d.log, which could result in huge ms3d.log files.

    • updated: kratisto's half-life mdl decompiler v1.01.
The MilkShape 3D v1.6.3 zip is about 3.1 MB and can be downloaded here.

I only really care about the new versions that change the second digit, because then I get a new 30-day trial! Too bad mine expired a couple weeks ago.

It is the "official" version; you can "demo" this software for 30 days before you have to pay $20 to continue using it. Everytime the second digit of the version increments, the counter resets and you can get another 30 days of trial if you haven't paid. I.e., I used up my trial for 1.5.x; when it went from 1.5.9 to 1.6.1 or whatever I got another month's worth out of my $0 I spent on it

You can set the date on your comp back, a couple decades.

It's not illegal to do that.

It's only 20 bucks, if you can't fork over that much to support a homebrewed program then you're just being a cheapskate.

Nice but the screws in the Handel look odd. Theres not anything else wrong with it but it's nothing special.
