This looks like crap. I'm not a de_italy fan in the first place, but when you have steps that are larger than some people, it's not a good sign. Textures look crappy and recycled, water looks like blue jello.

So that must mean because any map isn't 100% done, it will look like shit all the way up until that point. Use your brain, fool. Do you think they would post screenshots of the unfinished parts of the map? Would that really be a smart idea? Maybe you would, but I don't think any person with half a brain would do that, you would want to show the best looking parts of the map, which would be the complete ones.

He can still redo the textures... It's not done yet, so dont' worry about it too much... Only when it's released can you really complain about it.

Why would you spend weeks getting one single bit of your map perfect whilst neglecting the rest just so you could take screen shots? Surely as I guess he's done you'd work on the brushes and layout, then you'd do the fine details, then finnaly fine tune the map and the textures.

I agree with that -dice. Why don't you guys wait until the map is finished before you start kicking and screaming about how bad the map is, eh? And....if the map looks so bad, then why don't you go and make a map? If you can't make a map that's better then what your complaining about, then, I'm sorry, but you have no room to complain.

Well call me a nub, but I never really did like Italy, in terms of looks or gameplay. I'm looking forward to this new one as maybe to change the general look and tweak gameplay. Like all the other posts, I'm not to concerned with textures and the likes because it's only 75% complete...and anyways, I'll definetly at least give it a fair chance when it does get released.
