CS-Classic Site Opens

Detonator, creator of CS-Classic, sent us notice that the CS-Classic team now has an official website. It's basically their German site with an English translation. Detonator also mentions that work on CS-Classic beta 2 continues, and he feels that this version should get rid of the bunny hopping freaks.

He told me in e-mail that this will be a BETA 5 clone and, because of that fact, it'll get rid of all the jumping whores (paraphrased statement). I don't see how those two items relate at all, but good luck to Det, at least they have more focus.

i really do prefer the modern day cs now..



i thought i missed the old cs models but it turns out they suck.



the only thing i do miss is the ridiculous amount of blood you get from shooting a teammates head with ff off



by the way.. is it racist to hate someone because they dont talk english properly?

We had small problems with our page however those are now repaired and now also everything correctly will start!

its like theyre using google to translate their site.. And why are they posting MS updates on there.. Are they hoping to become the hub of all news?

I am a professional journalist. I don't believe in straying from the Associated Press style guide for capitalizing someone's name....

A few advantages I can see ...



First, you don't have to maintain two working installations of Half-Life, since b5 won't function under recent Half-Life builds (not to mention retail CS owners). You also have all the improvements made since (netcode, voice, etc). Likely the most important to many, it also puts you in a position to take advantage of VAC/HLG.

They've had the old CS for a long time now. The only problem is the HL 1.1.x.x compatibility....kudos to Det for that on CSClassic
