Individual skill isn't all it's stacked up to be. Sure, it's obviously important to be good at the game, but if you can't work well with your group then what's the point?



I used to run around and kill everyone too, but I've found that it's more fun playing as a team and perhaps not having a ratio that fits my talent than trying to kill everyone all the time. That sort of thing gets repetitive. And on that note, I'd say rizzuh is probably one of the best teammates a person could have, even though he fucking sucks at Counter-Strike.

Baiting isn't teamplay, it's a DM tactic. I used to do it all the time, ask nerb.



If you had the bomb or something and someone was shooting at you, I'd jump in front and try to help or provide enough cover for you to get to the bomb site. In a perfect world, I'd expect this from people, but too much of the CS community is worried about ratio.



By the way, mute the whole team again and I'm banning you from clownhut. Teamplay is a requirement, and we couldn't call for help from you or tell you what was going on.

As for muting the whole team. I was in the corner of the CT bridge room on aztec trying to hear them crossing the bridge to know when to pop out. I missed this twice and didn't want to keep missing it. I mean talking to say like they're going double doors, or I hear them water is fine. Having at least 1 or 2 people always talking is just stupid. Cut off your sound and see how you do. It cuts off so many options.

I've never had a problem hearing anything on the server, and I'd consider it important to know if someone was flying up on my ass from the stairs. The information we say over voice comm is important. There were quite a few options rather than muting the entire team for the duration of the map. You could've asked me to take a look, since I was standing next to you. If you HAD to mute someone, you could've UNMUTED them after you took care of whatever you needed to do. It takes getting used to, but the info said over voice comm helps more than it hurts.

I have my voice com reception loud so it's very easy to hear the quiet people. It isn't exactly a good thing when everyone is talking at once and you're trying to listen. The thing is, there is no reason as to why it should be like that in a small server on a map like aztec where if the person isn't bridge or being heard in water by one person they're double doors as reported by another person and if neither they are camping. Which is one plus side to playing dust on the hut because you can keep tabs on people even easier and it will be much more quiet.

voice comm has never bugged me in terms of not hearing things. sometimes ill mute random players on servers where there is no teamwork if the only thing im hearing is "WTF I SHOT HIM WTF!!!"



the only thing that could really cause you to not hear anything is when people play music over voice com. but clown hut usually only do that when they are dead or having fun.

i also had this problem on clownhut.. like when were all in a with the bomb and u n narby are having a big argument about stacking or aliases or something.. and im trying to listen for footsteps..
