They're based on POD Bots... but that doesn't mean they should be as stupid and newb as PODBots are.

Just because it's based on PODbot, doesn't mean it IS PODbot. HL was based on quake 1, but it most certainly isn't quake 1.

I take it this movie was "enhanced" a bit for the trailer, or do the BOTs actually pull their injured teammates to safe ground? Thats what I thought.

Audio worked fine for me. I do have to say now that I'm less impressed. I'm concerned about the AI.. there's one scene where 3 CTs advance on a town-square, and the CT in the back throws a grenade into the water. Now how intelligent was that? They continue to walk despite the fact that they have already engaged the enemy.. I can't figure out for the love of God if their objective was to shoot up the environment, or if they just had horrible aim.



Was the sound of the LAW from Goldeneye's rocket launcher? Nice recycling. Also, why is a Black-Hawk-Down-like-scenerio being included, or was that just to show off?

Sweet movie it makes the game worth buying. I bet that was Valve's solution with all the hype goin around about how it's bein delayed. I didn't really see a problem it was just that they were just walking to much even when they were fired at the enemy. I think it's gonna be cool but hard to cover ur CPU teammate if they do drag back injured teammates but i'm with sMee that was just somethin to spice it up. If they did drag teammates that'll mean they have to put a medic in the game but i doubt they will. But the last couple seconds of the movie is the same exact scene from BHD. I thought the game was goin independent but BHD is a cool map and a cool game (i just got the beta demo that's why its pretty coo) and it also seems like none of them are goin to crouch. I know u don't have too ALL the time but they were firing like Colts and i can almost never get a kill standing up but HEY! it's just a trailer nothing is official yet that will go down in the final game

I fucking hate that everyone thinks BHD is SO AUTHENTIC AND AWESOME.... the movie was a hollywoodized version of the book, and the book wasnt even accurate... and no, dont argue with me...
