    Militia 2 Interview

Halflife.org has posted an interview with The Family God, the creator of the popular Militia-movies, concerning the release of Militia 2. The interview talks about many new aspects of the film and clears up the real story of Valve Software helping The Family God. Here's a small clip of the interview:
Q: I have understood you have just finished the part II of the movie "Militia". How long did it take to create the second part? I heard it's 32 minutes long, so it must have taken a while to make.

A: Actually after the final edit it turned out to be 28.15 minutes long. It took almost 5 months to make. I had started working on it almost the same week that Militia Part 1 was released.

I have been looking forward to it since the day Part 1 was released but with all this film festival stuff and no release date I am losing intrest. I'm sure it will be great though, and The Family God and his team deserve all the praise they can get for it.

            nice

I got every movie thats listed on csmovies and militia 1 owns the majority of them. There is only but a few which I like better. One of my favorite skill movies is the destruct movie. TSG, dsk who? love the intro and then you gotta love the full auto pwnage

All the basic movies get old and even though I dload them I find myself not even watching the whole thing sometimes. Basic movies with people running around on a pub have become boring because already movies like militia1 have set the standard high. From the sequencing to the special effects implementation and also the originality... I enjoy it all and I can say I appreciate what these guys put into them.

The Family God, maybe you are new here. I don't read the actual articles, I just post something about the snippet suggesting that I read it. It's the way it works. I am taking a screenshot though, since I got quoted by you. You've made my day.

The original Militia 1 may have been short for most tastes, but its the fact of how much work goes into the movie to make it the best it can be. You can't blame the guy for a release date, I believe (after the acting) that he does all the "cutting and pasting" himself. Sure, we may hear about the movie every other day, but it beats all the CPL coverage and CS:CZ delays.

                            More power to him.
