    CPL Winter Date Changed

    The Cyberathlete Professional League recently announced the date change for The Cyberathlete Professional League Pentium 4 Winter 2002 Event. The event will now begin one day later and run from Wednesday, December 18 to Sunday December 22, 2002. People who have made hotel reservations at the Hyatt Regency Dallas will be able to change their reservation dates without an extra charge. Also, the CPL music concert will now be held on Thursday, December 19, 2002 from 8PM to 10PM.

    what exactly did the CPL Music Concert involve?



    was it a collection of the best OctoMED and danceEJay experts doing live drag and drop mixes

      I have a question. I live near dallas and ive never been to a CPL event. Whatexactly do you have to do to get into the CPL event? and IF you just want to go to spectate what is it like?

        You need a spectator pass. You can purchase them, although for the summer event Intel gave away like 2000(?) spectator passes.



        If you're under 17, (like... 16.) then you need to have a parent accompany you, or have them sign a form. I forget which. :|



        What is it like? It's a bunch of geeks getting together and playing CS for big money.

          THe CPL Concert last week was the bands "Reflection Theory" and "ABOYANDAGIRL"

                        There's a UT2003 tourney, which I think will be one-on-one.



                        Anyway, this means the finals will be on a Sunday, which means lots of folks will be kicking on the HLTV. I guess the CPL realized that some of us have "jobs."

                            hum I'd say it will be tdm (4v4) since CAL announced that as soon as the demo is out they'll open a 4v4 league and no 1v1..

                              Okay...next question is it like a lan party where you take your own computer or do they provide the computers?Oh and how do i get my clan into the CPL event for counterstrike?
