Why haven't they released some crosshair-skin packs for high-res players? Those crosshairs most definitely are smaller and while that could be helpful somehow (I haven't actually played 1600x1200 yet) I could see how having a bit bigger crosshair could help on those gigantic resolutions.

The crosshairs are hard coded aren't they?

I get 99 FPS in any resolution, 640 or 1600, (With Vsync off for the really high res). Anyway, there is a bigger font for CS for those who play in 1600 and can't read the text. I play in 640 because I dont know, 1: rifles seem like they burst a lot better and 2: I seem to get 99 FPS with like 5 people on screen and a smoke. But the only thing I think is diff is.. I used to get more HS's with 1280x960, I don't know why, from a distance, higher resolution seems better for me. Also my awp crosshair looks mad cartoony in 640, hah its thick as shit, but I don't awp..

k ill be honest.. i skipped about 40 comments.. but here's why i use 640x480:

                    1. Big cross-hair -- bigger = better, right? In CS, its size that matters, *NOT* how you use it ;D

                    2. At long range, there are very few pixels to shoot at for a headshot... and i like things simple like that.

Next time read the 40 rather then skipping them all and posting something that has been said over and over. Your wasting our time and your own.

If anything at least READ comment #17 , gg kthxbye

13374ZOR is right, have a look at the previous comments. And as for comment #2 of yours, I suggest you read the article or look here for your answer. Res doesn't affect model size.

Oh geez, you guys are so funny, how many times do people have to be told that resolution doesn't affect any of that.......
