Its so sad that maps like assault, and umm that POS map with the garage and the sewers are still in but docks is out.

As far as maps being added/removed... well, change happens. If you all love docks, then hey, that's fine, start up some servers and put docks on your rotation. I'm an arabstreets fan myself, and yes, unfortunately most servers only run maps that are included with the latest official release of CS.



There's always going to be people who hate any given map though, and people who love it. And yes, zimzap, I happen to love assault (the other one you're thinking of is seige). But, while they're harder to find, there's definitely some servers out there still running some old-school maps from the past. Perhaps you won't get the best ping, but I'd say it's worth it sometimes.



And yes, you're all going to laugh, but I haven't ever downloaded a map/map pack off the internet that I can recall. Got all of mine simply by connecting to servers running weird maps, and letting it auto-download them, heh. Sure, you miss the beginning rounds of a few games (having something else to do/eat in the meantime is a plus), but it makes things that much simpler. :)

cs_docks was one of my fav's and, Arab streets was also good, night seige i think look great. my list of old maps that i liked goes on



i think though valve should add cs_docks and arab streets back because so many people want them back, i also think they should add more AS maps because they rocked :)
