qualifiers, when won, get you an autoberth. with an autoberth you get to bypass the first bracket of the tournament, thereby guaranteeing a cash prize pretty much - plus, autoberth usually pays for hotel, flight, and other things.



if you have the money, your team can register for cpl - just make sure it isnt full.

Unless you live in or around Dallas, you still have to pay for hotel, food, flight/bus tickets, enterence fees, etc...



Its still a waste to get their and forfeit your match.



Seriously, what kind of excuse could you possibly have for not playing your match anyways? I'm sure you had 5 available people. You showed up with enough members I would hope. You have the PCs to play on, and if you didn't why bother to register in the tournament? The only reason I see for someone forfeiting is that they got drunk the night before and just didn't show up or something :\

I'm American, and rooting for America just because of that fact, but by blood, the largest I have of anything is Swedish (almost a full quarter, lol), which, while normally sounding sissy, sounds quite good when it comes to CS. Don't know what it is about those dang Swedes, but they put out some rather good CS players. So, go America and Sweden! Yeah! :) Heh, okay, so I have no clue what I'm talking about...

When it comes down to it it's going to be one clan that comes out right? So if you're facing a clan that's better than you, you're clearly not going to be that one clan anyway.

Euro clans are superior as compared to their red-neck Yank counter-parts. Especially the Swedes. They are really GOOD !

Guess which clan will be backed up to the wall and start whoring with all the silly weapons !



Personally, I think 3D would be so rattled, they would hit defcon 5, with Ksharp going, " All right guys, all buy AWPs and M4s."



Afterall, most skilled clan players are nothing but AWP/ak/M4 whores with better teamwork.



ADDED: BTW I said most but I didnt say about the rare clans that dont use whoring weapons.
