In usual fashion, I'm boosting my pack in the comment section of another crap pack. CSN isn't recognizing packs as much as they should. Why don't they get someone to rate packs? Packmakers (at least the decent ones) put a lot of their time into packs and should be recognized.

Jemimus -- thanks for the link. I saw it there above, just didn't equate you saying "my site" to the Clan Dead Goat Gunshop, but I suppose I should have followed the original linkage just to check things out.



As far as Z3U5d09d's comments about pack making and such, well, perhaps I'm wrong, but personally I don't see making packs of others' models as requiring nearly as much effort as making models yourself. There's definitely a place for model packs (ie, themeatic ones, eg LAPD SWAT or Delta Forces or whatever the theme may be for the weapons and/or players), but I typically grab a model pack simply in hopes to find a few good models amongst it, and discard the rest.



Unfortunately, people's taste is not all the same, and as such, you're going to find yourself liking models that others hate, and others loving models that you hate. Reviewing a pack would be harder than reviewing a model, 'because packs are large, and your opinion has to be over the sum total, not just an individual model. As such, I don't think it'd be a grand idea to have model pack reviews. However, I would like to see pack makers have really good screenshots availible of every model in the pack, both rendered and in-game, to give us a feel for the look of the weapons at a glance, without having to d/l the whole thing, install it, and worry about fixing things afterward.



I may give thoughts on MrLOL's pack if I get it downloaded anytime soon, we'll see.

Sadly, I found this pack rather disappointing. Several models were fairly good, but most were really lacking in areas.



Take the glock for instance. Awesome animations (especially the one handed cocking/toss), but a lousy model. Many models had poor animations for that matter, with hands going completely through the gun in several cases.



Pretty good MP5 and M4 replacements though, and I also use the PSG. If you don't mind flashlights on your pistols, the USP is quite nice for a black model. The basic feeling of the pack was decent models, but most were far outshadowed by other models out there.

this skin pack is pretty cool.one thing that I've noticed is that the para seems to have an increased rated of fire. i don't know if its true or not though.
