I like it. Wannabe's AK is nice but for realisim's sake his AK is to clean and shiny. This one by Birdhouse looks like a gun someone has fired a lot and dropped on the ground a few times.

Yes it is, the charger (what you referred to as the "thing you pull back after reloading") is realisticly located near the ejection. About all real guns that are right-handed eject shells to the right.

For my review: I really like this. Alot.



If you have read my other reviews, I'm a junkie for the CZ models. I was able to download a package that had all the CZ models remapped for CS 1.6, and I use most of them, and I replace them with the better ones that are suddenly popping up with the CZ arms/gloves, such as this one, the flip-style USP, etc.



I like the way the gun is held, and the looks very nice (really, you can't be too harsh on the tattered look, I mean terrorists don't buy fresh from the factory new AK's, and besides, you can't really see the scratchs and scuffs in the v_ak47.mdl, or ingame) I know this might sound bad.... but I like it better than Shrike/Wannabe's AK because-



1) It utilizes the supernice CZ arms

2) The wood is very nice

3) It isn't super smooth and brand new looking

4) Did I mention the arms? :P



Get this if you're like me, and have the CZ models for 1.6, or if you're wanting something besides Wannabe's model. Who knows, hopefully in a month or two there will be CZ-esque models for 90% or even ALL of the models, I wish... :P

It looks great and I love the sounds for it. I just sounds right now, unlike my last AK.
