    CAL-i Match Night Wrapup

    You can find my predictions here.

    Quick Results:

    FirstWave -over- Power :: 17-7

    iwa -over- Rj45 :: 22-2

    The CoolerGuys Renegade -over- new expert gamers :: 17-7

    Excess -over- The Second Coming :: 24-0 - Forfeit

    The Speakeasy Offensive -over- Digitally Xtreme :: 24-0 - Forfeit

    The Short Yellow Bus -over- Team Stomping Grounds :: 20-4

    Team Rival -over- WeekEnd Warriors :: 17-7

    Domain of Pain -over- [TEC] :: 19-5

    simply Wicked -over- eminence :: 14-10

    TAF -over- PLAYBOY :: 17-7

    TuF -over- RC :: 15-9

    Echo7 -over- CK3 :: 21-3

    DarkSide -over- Pinnacle :: No Score Given

    TAU -over- SteelBreeze :: 17-7

    3D vs gX - Rescheduled

    RiotSquad vs zEx - Rescheduled[break="Click through for the in-depth report!"]FirstWave -over- Power :: 17-7

    Looks like I came through with a perfect prediction as FirstWave held true to their name, sweeping 10 rounds the first half and 7 the second. While power had a small spurt of comeback when they were ct, it obviously wasn't enough.

    iwa -over- Rj45 :: 22-2

    What can I say? iwa defeated Pinnacle not too long ago 20-4, and they seem to have their hot streak back as they defeated Rj45 2-2. Hopefully Rj45 will stick in there and a win will eventually come their way.

    The CoolerGuys Renegade -over- new expert gamers :: 17-7

    CGR didn't hardly let up in this match, winning the first half 10-2 and the second 7-5. Looks like the former Team Solid is getting their feet back under them.

    The Short Yellow Bus -over- Team Stomping Grounds :: 20-4

    Well, looks like the match was more of a blowout than I predicted it to be, being 12-0 and 8-4. TSG, I wish you luck in the future, but the uss SYB duo managed to drop you tonight ;(

    Team Rival -over- WeekEnd Warriors :: 17-7

    WEW put up some resistance but not enough to grab the win. Rival, meanwhile, continues picking up wins. I really hope that someday soon WEW will return to their former glory; but for now, they're lower on the food chain.

    Domain of Pain -over- [TEC] :: 19-5

    DoP has always, no matter the roster, been a top of the line clan; unfortunately for TEC, that was the case tonight, with TEC barely putting up a resistance and DoP stomping them both sides. BTW, don't ask me why, as this has almost zero relevance, but I'm suddenly remembering the CAL-invite semi-finals match where TSO faced DoP and DoP stomped them 19-5 also. Now TSO is the top clan...cs is weird, eh?

    simply Wicked -over- eminence :: 14-10

    eminence put up a better fight tonight than anyone expected, taking 10 rounds of the 24. Although it wasn't enough for the win, I'm sure everyone is a bit surprised that e-- managed to prove they still have it when sW is being hailed as a monster.

    TAF -over- PLAYBOY :: 17-7

    Seems TAF wanted this win badly, and PLAYBOY just couldn't stop them like they did TAU awhile back. PLAYBOY didn't put up very many rounds, and so TAF adds another notch in their belt.

    TuF -over- RC :: 15-9

    Surprise of the night? Everyone was doubting TuF on this one and rooting for the new team reality check, including myself. I guess TuF was able to turn things around this time and prove everyone wrong (which often happens to my predictions . Fortunately for RC, there's still a few more weeks in the season to regroup themselves.

    Echo7 -over- CK3 :: 21-3

    Man, I was totally off on this prediction, as E7 dominated tonight's match and snatched the win to offset their recent losses. CK3 is a great team, but rumor has it that their leader BigV has passed on control to Jesuit for now. That's either going to be a good or a bad thing, and only time will tell. Until then, CK3 is a sinking ship.

    TAU -over- SteelBreeze :: 17-7

    TAU rolled right over SB tonight and proved they're still a top contender despite their earlier losses this season. Steelbreeze, meanwhile, could still be a contender, but they have a few issues they need to work out.

                      lmao... I always like clans that don't have a name that screams : "Hey, we take ourselves too seriously!"

                        mTw.GoL will be strong.. sK.sca i think will actually be a disappointment.. my predictions are

                        1. 3D

                        2. mTw.GoL

                        3. DoP

                        4. Gamers-x

                        5. sK.sca

                        this should be a very competitive cpl tourney and i think tso might come as a disappointment getting knocked out early
