CSTuner Beta Released

Today, GreenSoftLine have released their Beta version of CSTuner. CSTuner is a Counter-Strike utility program which allows users to edit CS options, download and install skins, sprites, spraypaints and more.

csconfigurator was awesome..the custom huds in that were really cool...cstuner is like 100% more spiffylicious



ahhh the beta doesnt have custom huds in it ...the skin browser is pretty nice tho...

csconfig was considered a hack by some servers a few months ago and I never bothered reinstalling it after the problem was fixed.

Yawn....It's shareware (yuck) for something that I have been able to do now for years, that is fine tune Half Life (and not only CS) via .cfg files to everything from game/video/audio/misc options.



Like Garry said, it's only good for the newbs who are too stupid to open up autoexec.cfg and, heaven forbid, ACTUALLY put in some HL cvars to fine tune HL to your heart's content!



As for the rest of the stuff. Models/skins aren't that hard to find, same with maps. Sprays/decals I make myself for my own benefit.



I feel sorry for any newb that pay's $19 for this when he/she can spend a little over 30 mins browsing the HL/CS tuning websites and add in cvars to autoexec.cfg, as well as other methods, to fine tune HL.

$19 waste for things i can do without it. so it installs skins for you, its probably quicker to drop the file in the models folder without it.

I don't see why you need a program that has to be extreamly easy to use. I leared to refine my CS configuration through notepad n' shiz, its not like every day you get on your computer to change your configuration and play CS, then re-config again and so on...Just spend the like 10-20 mins. on doing it right and leave it lol. No need for programs just learn your stuff.

Why would you need to know programming just to ad "-console" to your shortcut, download skins and tweak your config files?



All these little programs sound good but are ultimately shit and pointless and anyone whos played HL for more than a week will know how to do all this stuff.

if you know how to read a "readme" you can install it yourself, if not.. then you need help. Or you can pay $19...

and only a retard woudn't know how to install a skin, but people wouln't buy it for that...it comes with a skin BROWSER, and has a bunch a custom huds and crap..which, cause of my n00bness, i don't know how to make...
