im still gonna stick w/ cs v1.5 cuz this is the same thing u said about csc but 2 days from now you will probablly say its gay so i'll wait till a review or some comments about it to d/l it

i just played it. its much more accurate to the old school days, but its got some MAJOR bugs in it , ie. guerrila skin is also on the counter-terrorist team, colt doesnt have a sound. once these get fixed i'll give it another shot.

It was alright. Hey does langames work with cs retail? I'll go try, it requires downgrading half-life though. Retail works with mods but I'm not sure about downgrading.

No it doesn't. I tried it a million different ways but the real CS 5.2 beta won't work with retail.



Retro CS is a much better effort than CS Classic, and it replicates the original beta 5.2 much better. I don't know why people rant about how 5.2 was so much better and how the old models owned... personally I think the CS of today is a much more polished and professional mod. Most if not all the bugs and exploits have been fixed, cheating has been lessed/stopped, it has alot more features, its matured alot overall.



Oh... and the old models/sounds sucked ass.

^ yup, after i played retro i realized how far cs has gone as far as improvements. 1.5 IS the best so far, i wouldnt go back if i was given the option

This is def...a better step towards the old cs than csc...but...they need to fix the navy seal skin (which is currently the guerilla skin) to the original ct skin and give the colt (m4) sound...Also they should disable bunnyhopping,if its enabled, without ruining regular jumping. Make Right Handed Models Work!!!, Get anticheat protection, and Enable Admin mod, hlmonitor, csgaurd etc...to work with this mod...if they do all that...this will be the most solid cs their ever was

just played it, a much truer representation of cs, spolit only by the colt bug, t-skin bug and the flood of idiots saying "how to change to right hand".. "whats the console command"..

Dont get me wrong here, I still enjoy playing cs1.5 I just thought it'd be nice to have an option out there to play a mod that represented the early betas without haveing to downgrade Half-Life.

CS Classic Beta 2 will be exactly, THATS EXACTLY, the same as cs beta 5.2, see you all then :) bout i month i guess.

Call me crazy, but I like CS-Classic better.



CS-Classic has the actual beta player models... Retro-CS doesn't. Also you can have right handed models in CS-Classic really easily.
