Ooooohh man you're REALLY uninformed, or just too young to know any of this. I certainly hope you're being sarcastic about thinking that Halo is what made Bungie famous, 'cause otherwise you have no right to call yourself a gamer. Bungie software is a company of legendary status. They made Halo yes, but what you may fail to know is that Halo is the sequel to several other fantastically popular games. Before Bungie made Halo (and got bought out by Microsoft), a loooooong time ago they made Marathon: Infinity, and before that they made Marathon, and probably some Marathon games in between.



If you don't know what the Marathon games are, then look way way back into computer gaming history to find your answer; they're some of the most popular games ever made. They were released originally on mac, I believe, but some got ported to PC. Bungie has been around probably just as long as Sierra (who have existed, well, forever just about) and definitely much longer than Valve.



Oh, BTW...for some companies one game certainly can start the company off to "make" it big. Ever heard of Squaresoft? They were about to go out of business so they pushed out one final game and bet the company on it. Know what it was called? Final Fantasy.

sure bunny hopping is fun in all but like ppl are saying.. im usin csc as a toy.. sumtin to jus screw around with every once in a while.. puttin bhoping back in would be a bad idea.. even puttin in 1.3 jumpin would most likely be a bad idea too.. and yes i was one of those 1.4 flamers.. but i was doin that durin the beta stages.. after playin it in the beta stages and gettin used to 1.4.. i was ready for the official release of 1.4 and had no complaints over it

i think csc is (soon was) a good attempt to remake the old betas but has seemingly morphed into a bunnyhopping mod....

the number of servers is between hmmm about 15 and 30 my prediction is that in 2 weeks there will be under 5 servers and i dont want to seem evil, bad or whatever but the sooner this "mod" dies the better



we certainly wouldnt want a split in the great cs community

i think in the end those who play csc more then cs 1.5 are just old bhoppers who are mad at the new versions for removing bunnyhopping (witch made cs a slightly more realistic game) and want to go fool around for awhile

in the end well your probably better off not expecting much from csc and sticking to the current version...

I'm pretty sure the company within a company with the box of the companies company is the company of companies named Trigon or something but im positive that the company within a company with the box of the companies company is the company of companies is a under bungie just like vlave is under sierra

I like to think of it like game systems. Sure it's cool to go back and relive your misguided childhood by playing Super Mario Bros. 3 on NES, but in the end, those 8 bits of excitement just don't cut it - so you fall back to playing Halo on the XBOX or whatnot.
