Due to the popularity of Half-Life Sound Selector, Disk2 has released version 3.0 in order to fix some bugs. It fixes the problems that users with Win98 and WinMe were experiencing. Version 3 also adds some some new features.
- fixed a problem in the sound switching function that caused hlss to not function properly on many computers (bug affected windows 98/me users)
- added script setup feature that will automatically setup your mod to work with hlss
- added an expanded buffer size option (up to 2 mb) for users with exceptionally long sound bites
- added option that allows users to choose where the black bar is show: top, bottom, or hidden
- improved logging functionality (again)
- fixed a bug in the editing function that would edit the sound entry even if the user clicked cancel
- added link to the hlss website in the about box
