Everyone sounds like a moron when they aren't in front of you. Take a step back and think about your friends in real life. I know quite a few that I've never thought to be abnormal, but if they were to use voice comm (or something like it) they'd sound much different.



You're right though, he sounds a smidge nervous as compared to when he talks to teammates in game. That's understandable, though.

I was going to post this with a FilePlanet mirror, but I've been busy with things and went out all day today.



I wasn't really nervous (I've gotten used to "public" speaking, this is barely that), it was just very warm and I was exercising before I got on the computer and talked to sushi- (which means I was running around with a super soaker and acting like I was a Navy SEAL). I thought my AC was broken, but the temperature limit was set to 100.



I think the wobbly voice is due to the ghetto microphone setup. I don't know, maybe my voice really does oscillate.

I only sound different in real life because I have problems talking to people...it stems from the fact that I have no idea where to look when I'm talking to someone. I can't look them straight in the eyes, it makes them nervous for some reason. Sometimes I look down, more towards the chest/neck area, but for some this isn't *cough* gentlemanly. So I tend to look past people, over their shoulders, or at their teeth. One time, I remember, I told this girl she "had really nice teeth" and I swear, she came this close (fingers 1mm apart) from slapping me.



That made no sense.
