Version 1.0.5.1 of the popular ChickenMod has been released. It allows the admin to change the players into chickens and give them certain attributes.



Here's the changelog:

• fixed server crashing when bot planting the bomb

Not many changes, but if you wish to put a little extra fun into your server, download this mod.

Nice mod, can be fun. But it gets abused like a mofo, every single person who comes in says "how can do i make myself a chicken???". Or something to that effect. Then they find out they can't, and spam something like "CAN AN ADMIN PLZ TURN ME INTO A CHICKEN??@#!#". It gets annoying and also seems to lag some older servers.

Yes Skinner, that is a downfall of admin-mod/all the fancy mods. I personally like a server with none of the spam on the screen, vote_kick commands and all the other stuff like that. Just as HL/CS is meant, RCON only! : )



If you like your servers like that try out these 2 Pubs. They have a fair amount of competition though, so be forewarned.

OMG this is vastly improved from the last version. Now your point of view is from the ground, and people have to aim down to shoot you. More realistic. Plus chickens can plant bombs (the chicken w/bomb model is hilarous), drop "eggs" (HE grenades), and most importantly attack! It does the knife hit sound, perfect. Its great, GJ guys.

I've played ChickenMOD servers, but they've never had an admin in them, so I've never witnessed all these cool things about it. It always looks like AdminMOD.

No, no, no. ChickenMOD works along with AdminMOD. It doesn't overwrite AdminMOD or anything. They both work together!

You can turn off statsme. We run it on clownhut because it is optional, even if opt-out.

i like the stats on screen. I like to see how much damage ive done to people.. it makes me fell less useless. (more usefull)



i dont like the bomb count down thing.. it can let ct's know if they have enough time to defuse or if they should just run off.



monster kill would be ok if it had a sound like M M M M M MONSTER KILL KILL KILL KILL KILL.. i dont usually see the little think on the left.. i think i have a blindspot there because of the servers with "ONLY COOL PEOPLE ADD [UK2] TO THEYRE NAMES"



Never really seen this mod anyway.. i remember when u could change into a chicken using the model xxxxx cheat hack loophole thjing
