The CAL map of the week... ... ...
It was de_cbble if you still know absolutely nothing about the clan scene. The next 3 maps (in order) will be:
Nuke, Prodigy, Dust2 (They're all de_ maps if you didn't know.)PuNiShEr wrote..
I posted a bunch, although they were last minute because thats when I get them. This is CSNation, not SoGayed or GeekBoys. No props go to the first person to post, sorry.
FIRST! I wanted HLTV IPs oh well
PS. SoGamed has a boatload of demos up from last weeks matches, and will be posting more from this weeks I'm sure.
Demo from Rival vs. [TEC]

I think it sucks that Gamers-X can have TWO of their own teams win both CPL Regional and Divisional events at THEIR OWN LAN centers... is that fair? Isn't that against the rules? They are intentionally pushing for both teams to go to the CPL to better their chances of winning the contest... is this what it's all about? Whoever has the most money can buy their way in?
Clan GX - Clan GamersX. GSX - GamerS X. This is too obvious to not notice. Their explanation or excuses can be refuted by anyone who is a local customer of their LAN centers. For them to be able to do this type of "stacking the deck" in their favor must not be allowed.
And when they lose? Excuses... just like the HLTV excuse they tried pulling on SYB. So yes- this does relate to SYB and CAL and CPL. And I am not flaming, i just think that the clans that deserve respect should earn it, not buy it.Comment

RE: "A was also made in the direction of Gamers-X, a clan that was also under some "eligibility" controversy due to last weekend's qualifiers. The Gamers-X second team, GSX, won a qualifier in California despite having an affiliation with the main GX team (2-3 of their players are on GX's CAL Invite roster), but their berth stands up. In other GX elibility news, GX-steel is eligible to play for GX at the CPL Summer Championships, even though he played on the -TT- team. He's eligible because now that -TT- was stripped of their berth, he didn't actually play for a "regional winner".
Fact: GSX stands for GenerationS-X. half Generation (Diamond Bar?) / half Gamers-X (Fullerton?). So they ARE related to ClanGX.
Fact: Frank was emailed about this situation. His response? fwd to Paul Estevez of Gamers X
Fact: his response (transcribed form the original email):
"...You are a sore loser and poor sport. You are bitter because your team is not worthy of playing at this years CPL event and the Regionals proved it. Don't cry to the CPL.
bye,
Paul Esteves"
gg for fairness, having two teams in CPL, and having people like this represent the CPL gamer.Comment
