headshots are are long standing problem, causing frustration through several versons of the game



I love thse sorts of comments. As was pointed out earlier headshots have always been there. Back before the "masses" played CS noone moaned about 'em they were part of the game. Christ people never moaned how back in pre beta 4 when u shot some1 it told you if you hit a helmet or a vest (which was so handy for shooting ppl through walls on cs_assault =) I personally liek the changes in 1.4/1.5 wo many people moan that they make the game more n00b friendly but this is total shite and if you truly believe this I would say you are probably the n00b. Learn to shoot.



Strangely everybody's favourite betas (4 and 5) are my least favourite. I really didn't liek em and was so glad when 6 came along and it was possible to shoot straight again ....

Look, all I'm saying is that there's clearly some kind of issue with how the game resolves headshots. They should be earned by skill and not by luck, and at the moment luck can play a huge part, due to Valve's implementation of them. And of course they've always been there. But are you trying to say that they haven't changed?



Anyway, that wasn't the main thrust of my point. It was supposed to be an example of issues Valve have not addressed well enough. Having said that, they manage to stay in my favour by adding cool things to the game.

wow I just played it. its worse than 1.4 and 1.5 im glad bunny hopping was took out. Its like the lamers dream. I had M4 and this other dude had an AK, he came bunny hopping around the corner on dust like a fag at 90 MPH i unload a hole clip on him but he is jumping around like a homo on speed I stop to reload and he stops and fires one bullet and HS me. that is just gay. I never thought I would say it but 1.4 and 1.5 were the best things that happened to counter-strike. taking out bunny hopping was the best thing valve could do. and I only realised this after playing cs-classic

its fun to do.. i spent hours learnin how to bunny hop and its nice bein able to go back and do it again

This mod is shockinly bad ! it is NOTHING like old cs, it is just like current cs with a few models changed, jumping restrictions removed etc. I ask what is the point?

While playing it for 5 minutes this is a short list of things that are wrong:



Knife run is not faster

Knife has secondary fire and is not as deadly.

Colt has no zoom

The guns act NOTHING like they did in the old beta's

Its the expanding cross hair

Half the sounds are wrong

The guns are just wrong, why is the Aug in it? why can't the CT buy the sig etc



This mod is frankly a total disgrace and will complelty kill peoples perception of the old cs betas

CS Classic still shares quite a lot in common with CS 1.5 like the accuracies. I think if it was able to sever it self more from 1.5 it could be more succsessful.

Ok to the people complaining about bunnyhopping, it was taken out in 1.3. Sure you could still do th same motion, but you didnt gain speed from it. The was abosolutly no point in making it so when you jump, its like you landed into a sand pit. WTF. Oh, CS-Classic kicks ass. When I was trying to get into dagz' server, i saw gooseman and ksharp. Thanks a lot for a great mod det.

Oh that's cute. Bitch about how easily headshots kill you, then recommend a mod where the bullshit death ratio is far greater than any CS player could ever dream about.
