Some good maps there. Too bad they pull a lot of the good maps out of CS and leave horrible maps in. Problem is, I only get to play these types of maps with PODBOT since very few servers run custom maps such as these.

I think cs_thunder was one of the best maps in CS. It should be in this pack.. grrr.. one day I'm going to get a server and just run these old maps.

docks is good, server i play on runs it, along with rotterdam, arabstreets (which still has shitty r speeds) and some other good older maps/



im sure there are more servers than the TSO one running weapondpt/

I loved thunder. i have no idea why people no longer play it. it was one of the best maps by far. hosties, and a dam. not to mention that noise that you heard when you were outside. that wind noise was so overwhelming it made me feel the cold. if anyone has ip's that still play these maps please post them so we can all enjoy these maps together again.

OMG as_riverside was my first map i played bring it back plzzzzzz , I agree with vertago bring back the es_maps back, any 1 remember the es_map where the terrors have to escape from the underground?? what was its name ??

as_forest.. now there's some fun memories! I was, of course, a total n00b back then, but I still remember it. Actually, it may have even been the first map I played...



cs_docks.. who can forget? Tons of great times to be had swimming, prancing, and generally frolicking about.



de_railroad.. man, I totally forgot about this one! Do those trains kill you if they run into ya? I hardly remember it..



And yes, I think thunder, in all it's glory, should have been included in this pack (they took it out of CS to minimize file sizes--THOSE BASTARDS!)

The only ones I miss are de_rotterdam and perhaps cs_docks.



But the CS map policy between the updates suck. Why the hell keep shitty maps like siege, assault, militia, tundra!? Yes they are "classics", but I would rather call then "old", and they are terribly unbalanced and mostly only fun for one side! At least get them updated!



They not only keep bad maps, they remove some good ones too, e.g. cs_thunder! Not a perfect map, but compare it with e.g. siege...

Geez, I haven't played cs_docks since it was cut. Shame, because all my shattered memory can remember from it is the boat spawn (and taking a left around the building ... seem to remember a couple of ladders in the vicinity, as well). I recall it being one of my favourite maps, but there isn't a whole lot I DO remember about the early betas. Don't do drugs, kids.



Anyone know any servers (preferably on the US east coast) that have these maps in rotation? I'll probably have to dig up some waypoints and bot it out for a while.

check out http://gametiger.net and see if you can find it.. I think that's your best bet
